Down in Carson City

Date: May 8
Mileage: 1.5
May mileage: 1,327 miles
Temperature: 0 degrees K

I’m hoping to ride 630 miles tomorrow, making concentric loops around the WalMart parking lot until there is no tread left remaining on my tires, or as I like to call it, a “rest day”. But don’t worry about me. Remember, I’m so much tougher than you are. It was 0 degrees Kelvin when I left my simple, but comfortable house this morning. Yeah, that’s right, the temperature at which nothing could be colder and no heat energy remains in a substance. Believe me, it’s way colder than anything you’ve ever ridden in.

Snowy Commute B&W

I actually didn’t make it too far today. My tongue stuck to the handlebars as I was going for a frosty treat. I enjoy eating snow when it’s this cold out. As I tried to free myself from this entanglement, I fell into the creek. Now normally I enjoy riding for endless miles in wet clothes, but my iPod got wet. I wasn’t about to continue my ordeal without my tunes.

So anyway, we’ll see how it goes tomorrow. Feel free to send some cash my way. Like I said, I plan to ride my tires down to the nylon threads tomorrow, and will need a new pair.

Just a few (two) miles from home
